Your Customer Friendly Sales History Viewer (in the Customers section, Credit tab) has a new email feature. You may now directly email invoices from this screen without having to ‘restore’ them to a PDF document first.
Simply highlight the invoice you wish to send to the customer and click the Email button at the bottom of the screen. The process is conducted in the ‘background’ so your terminal isn’t tied up waiting for the email to finish. Every time you click the button, an email is sent.
Should your store not have the eStatement family of features enabled or if the selected customer does not have an email address defined, the Email button will be grayed out. This new invoice email feature will make accounting department personnel’s lives a little easier.
